Benefits Information

A brief overview of Benefit Plans:

PSL may offer a choice of Major Medical and dental plans in any of our operating areas. Each plan is designed to give you flexibility, lower out-of-pocket expenses, and competitive premium rates.

We also work with you to determine which other insurance products may be of interest and benefit to your workforce, and which may give you a competitive edge in the increasingly competitive market for long term care employees. These may include, but are not limited to, Basic Life Insurance and Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Voluntary Life Insurance Voluntary AD&D, Long-Term Disability (LTD).

You may elect to establish a Flexible Spending Account which helps you save money by allowing certain health and dependent care expenses to be paid with pre-tax dollars. As part of the Section 125 Cafeteria Plan, the health and dependent care spending accounts allow you to set aside part of your salary on a before-tax basis, to pay for certain eligible expenses. By doing so, employees take home pay is increased.

The 401(k) Retirement Plan helps you and your eligible employees save money for retirement by allowing them to put a portion of their pre-tax salary into a tax-sheltered savings account set up by Paradigm Senior Living. The plan offers several investment options that have various levels of risk and return. 401K accounts can be accessed and monitored by each employee over the Internet, or through an interactive telephone system.
